What is keyword density limit
Keyword density describes the number of the times a particular keyword is used in the content on the webpage. It is expressed as a percentage of the number of keywords used to the total words used in the content on the webpage. It is one of the important things that Google Crawler takes account of while ranking the pages in the search engine pages.
How to collect you keyword density?
If you have content with 100 words excluding the HTML codes used in the web page, and your keyword appears five times in the content. The keyword density is got by expressing the number of the times the keywords appears (say 5 here) as a percentage of the total number of words in the content (say 100 here). Hence the overall keyword density would be 5 divided by 100 = 0.05 or which is 5%.
Usually, Search engine crawlers limit the use of keyword density between 3 to 5%. And once this limit is exceeded, and then there is a fair chance that the search engine might deem the certain web page as spam. So to be on the safer side and to make maximum use, keep your keyword density within 3 to 5%.
